They say “quality over quantity.” And for most things, it rings true:
One or two real friends are better than a hundred fair-weather ones.
A curated collection of quality clothing is better than a wardrobe of fast fashion.
A single, carefully chosen gift is better than a dozen.
Yet when you’re just starting out in the creative fields – as a designer, a writer, an artist, a photographer – this rule does not apply.
Create as much as you can. As many versions as you can. Explore as far as you can within the time you are given. Do it, then do it again.
When you’re just starting out, quantity leads to quality.
