The Queen of Shitty Robots

I know, I know. Some of you might have noticed, for the first time in over a year, I skipped one Sunday. I did not write a weekly article last week, your inbox is not broken (: Of course there are reasons for it, but I had to sort out some personal things first before I could write you again.

But let's get into the good news! Maybe some of you know, I have my own audio show/podcast. And the good news is, after a little bit of a break, I'm back with Season 2 of the NTMY Show. (PS: NTMY stands for Nice To Meet You)

Last weekend I published a new episode together with Simone Giertz, and I just have to share it with you.

Simone is amazing, and you might have seen some of her work. She essentially builds shitty robots, and some of them you might have seen already. If not, check out her Breakfast Robot, her Lipstick Robot or the WakeupMachine.

She officially started building shitty robots a little over a year ago, and since then most of her robots and videos went completely viral online. After I've seen a couple videos of her, I couldn't resist, I needed to have her on the NTMY show.

In the hour we had, we talked about pretty much everything. From how she got started, to comedy, commitment issues and her strange immunity to haters.

This episode turned out to be one of my personal favorites. Mostly because it reflected what the core of NTMY is about. Casual & fun conversations. I always want to make sure that when you listen to one of the NTMY episodes, that you feel like you're just sitting next to us on the same couch, taking part in the conversation.

As some as you might know, my goal with the NTMY show is to bring people on the show that you might not know, people outside of the design & tech industry. Makers, builders & especially no bullshitters. NTMY isn't your average design/tech podcast.

I like the NTMY show to be different and I'm excited to share new episodes with you in the coming weeks. (I'm actually recording a new one tomorrow, yeah!)

But as you know, YOU are a big part in the NTMY show. With more than 400.000 listeners since I first started a couple months ago, the NTMY show has grown into something much bigger than I ever thought would be possible. THANK YOU!
