A place for everything and everything in its place: How I use mymind as a designer

I discovered my love of design on the internet, and the internet continues to fuel it. And now with mymind, it all comes together in one place.
mymind is tool that uses artificial intelligence to help you save and remember everything you care about. For me, it's done a lot more than that.
I first started using it to collect images that I found beautiful, or websites and design inspiration to refer to later. What’s so special is there's no process. I click “add to my mind,” and I'm done. Everything is organized for me. It’s what I most enjoy about mymind, it feels invisible. But whenever I need it, it shows me exactly what I'm looking for (or didn't know I was looking for).
I'll show you how.
Creating instant mood boards
When I'm browsing the internet and come across a beautiful image or a nice portfolio or a font that I love, I simply save it to mymind and keep moving forward. Later on, I can quickly create a mood board for a project based on colors, specific categories like packaging or logo design, or specific tags I've used for a project.
For example, I can search for "poster" or "typography" and instantly find typography I saved months before, knowing I would one day want it for a special project. Or I can even combine both and create a mood board with only typographic posters. It's a perfect way for me to get ideas and inspiration when designing.
Exploring new interests in design & art
When I see art, a graphic or poster I like, and wonder who is behind it or where it came from, I save it to mymind. Since the AI automatically tags everything, I can immediately see who the artist was, what style it is or even what year it was made. I often follow or reach out to artists or designers I admire directly on Twitter, and I've made new friends that way. mymind makes it even easier to learn from the creative community and feel like I'm part of it.
"At this point, I'm creating my own design oasis of ideas, inspiration and resources with mymind."
Discovering and saving my own library of colors
Every time I add an image, mymind extracts the most prominent colors and creates a color palette. If I'm browsing online and see something that strikes me for a future project, I can pull the color palette straight from it. I'm constantly grabbing hex codes from mymind or putting them in there as I discover colors and color palettes I like. I have my own little library of Colors now.
Searching the color "blue" for example, will not only pull every image I've saved with blue in it, but also specific palettes I've saved around the color blue.
At this point, I'm creating my own design oasis of ideas, inspiration, and resources with mymind. But, I don't limit this just for that. mymind has become my go-to destination for everything I care about.
Everything I put in mymind is visually organized for me, so I don't have to think about categorizing things or putting them in folders. Early in my internship with HOVS, mymind helped me keep track of everything I was learning and quickly recall a meeting or task right when I needed it.
Now, it's helping me grow in my career and personal interests, while serving as a peaceful little retreat any time I need a refresh.
