That's a huge achievement for me, considering that I was pretty afraid of writing just two years ago. I always considered myself a designer, not a writer - Up until now!
The majority of my articles were written at airports, planes or somewhere in between. I had to learn to get my shit done, regardless of where I am. It's also been almost a year that I quit my full time job at Spotify.
During this year many people ask me how I'm able to write so much, how I get shit done. And to be honest, the best way to get shit done is giving yourself a challenge like I did. My challenge was to publish one article every Sunday night for one year, just to see if I can do it. And yes, it looks like I can.
Today, I'm more motivated than ever. I'm motivated to take it to the next level, to write more, put more time in it and publish more things useful to you.
I will continue writing, and if you just joined this list you already know that you have access to all previous 52 weekly articles. (I'm still working on making a better design for the archive, I promise)
Here are some of my personal favorites:
Edition Nr.7 - The real story on how to become a designer.
Edition Nr. 8 - Doing it wrong
Edition Nr. 14 - The inspiration lie
Edition Nr. 17 - The day you became a better designer
Edition Nr. 19 - No struggle no change
Edition Nr. 29 - Love your haters
Edition Nr. 33 - The worst case scenario
Edition Nr. 37 - Every reason to panic
Edition Nr. 42 - Finding your own style
Edition Nr. 51 - Be Useful
THANK YOU for supporting me the last year. I want to thank you for signing up, for reading every week and motivating me to keep going.
I started writing this email list starting with just one subscriber, and one year later tens of thousands of people are reading every week. It's mind blowing to me, and I'm absolutely thankful.
So what's next?
1. I want to write more about topics that you are interested in, so please let me know your feedback on Twitter or reply to this email.
I love getting your replies and I can promise you I read every single one of them, even though it sometimes takes me a little while to get back to you. I hope you understand.
2. Right now this email list is costing me a decent amount of money every month, considering that I spend more and more time on this email list, it's definitely something I need to think about. A lot of you encouraged me to at least take on donations, but I'm still figuring out a good solution for this. However, this email will stay free no matter what.
3. I'm working on my website to make future content/articles easier to browse and discover. I hope to share this with you soon.

This might have been one of the shortest emails I sent in the last year, but I wanted to make sure to dedicate the full email to THANK YOU and speak a little about the future. Next Sunday we're back to the regular program.
Wish you a fantastic week!
